Before I’ve started to work with Iulian on our first EP together, we talked a lot about mixing and mastering. At that time, the studio I was working in wasn't very well balanced and it seemed to me that all the tracks we were making were missing that "spark". So, I decided to send Iulian stems for our collaborative tracks and I have to admit that I was very impressed when I received the mastered projects from him. It all sounds very crisp, clear and punchy in the same time. Then, I’ve sent him a few more personal tracks to be mixed and the result was perfect! All of them sounded different (in a good way!) at the club, much cleaner, open and all the samples were mixed perfect in place. WAV file, 24 Bit sample rate
No limiters, compressors or saturators on master bus/channel
Peak level around -6dB

Stem Mix & Mastering

Your track is finished and you are happy with the overall idea, but you feel like you need some help with the mixing process. Here’s the situation where I can help with proper cleaning and adjustments of frequencies, then heading over to the mastering process.

What’s included in the process:

cleaning & adjustment of frequency levels
improved loudness and punch
improved stereo imaging
better relationship between instruments
optimal loudness without affecting the overall track dynamics
artistic vision preservation

File preparations:

WAV files, 24 Bit sample rate
No limiters, compressors or saturators on master bus/channel
Peak level around -6dB
Separate channel exports for each instrument: kick, bass and/or sub bass, toms, claps and or/snares, hihats, synths & pads (separate if you have more than one), effects.
